since HDMI is a digital signal, there is no difference between a $50 HDMI cable and a $10 HDMI cable. You are paying for the brand name.

Apple's HDMI cable is 1.8 meters long, while Belkin's is 4 meters long.
The question is whether you need a longer cable or not. The price per meter is actually lower if you buy a Belkin cable, but if the shorter one is enough for your needs, then you'll be wasting money on extra length that you won't use.
