Drag and drop copy to client control windows

When helping remote users, you might need to upload new drivers, clean preferences files, or other useful tools to troubleshoot and fix problems. With Apple Remote Desktop 3, you can quickly copy files from your computer to any remote client by just dragging files from your own desktop or Finder window to a remote client’s window during a client control session. And if you want to ensure that files are transferred securely, just go to the Security pane in Remote Desktop Preferences, and make sure “Encrypt all network data” is selected.

Share your screen with others

Another powerful way to interact with your users is to share your screen with them. For instance, if you need to make a presentation, train a group of new employees or present a topic to your class, you can dispense with the overhead projector and simply share your screen with your audience. Just choose Share Screen from the Interact menu, and identify whether it’s your screen or another client’s screen that you want to share. Then begin your presentation.
