The disconnect: What digital kids do online
Of the digital students with online access, 70 percent spend an hour each day online and the same number have high-speed Internet access. Sixty percent contend that the information found on the web is more reliable than that found in print (Teen Research Unlimited, Fall 1999). Ask them why and they’ll be happy to open a textbook and show you the copyright date.
