Session 1 - VisionYour vision, your purpose. This stream outlines how to set clear objectives on the use of technology in the curriculum. How to articulate and communicate a clear and concise vision and inspire your teachers and parents.
Session 2 - Road to 1 to 1Defining the goals for 1 to 1 learning. Collecting ideas and inputs. Conducting discussion and debate. Communication. What are your motivations? Identifying your leadership team on moving towards 1 to 1.
Session 3 - Engaging the CommunityPodcasting the classroom. RSS feeds for school community messaging. Collaborating with other schools. How to engage your students and teachers. We'll discuss the best ways to use technology that deliver a learning outcome through this exciting medium.
Session 4 - Teacher Professional DevelopmentModern day curriculum needs. How do the needs of your students and teachers map against the PD available in your state? Session 5 - Creating the 21st Century Learning EnvironmentReview case studies of schools that have gone 1 to 1. Look at schools that have developed learning environments. What does technology in the classroom look like? What does the school need before integrating technology in the classroom?
Session 6 - Integration of Emerging Mobile TechnologiesThe iPod touch, MacBook Air, MacBook and other mobile access devices that are being used in Education today. What is the right tool for the task? The difference between content access and content creation. What does the future hold?
