Education

We don't do anything halfway.

Technology alone won’t transform your institution. To inspire students, educators have to integrate that technology into learning.

Let Apple Professional Development teach you.

With Apple, educators already have a huge head start because everything is so simple to use. But we go much further to make sure educators have all the skills, ideas and best practices they need to reinvent the way they teach.

As educators, Apple Professional Development team members will lead a range of workshops at your school, each one customised to meet the specific needs of your staff.

We’ve done our homework.

For decades, Apple has had a key presence at national education forums and conferences. We work closely with more than a thousand Apple Distinguished Educators who are constantly refining the use of technology in the classroom. Their insights and proven teaching strategies are incorporated into all of our Professional Development sessions.

Apple Workshops

Digital Literacy Workshops.

This family of workshops is for educators who are bringing technology to the classroom for the first time. They learn how to create content with applications such as iLife, iWork, Aperture, Final Cut Pro and Microsoft Office. Educators find out how to use Mac OS X to get students collaborating in new ways. And they learn how to work media assignments into their curricula.

iMac and iPod Touch

Technology-Infused Learning Workshops.

Once educators have the basics down, this set of workshops can help them fully integrate technology into their classes. Topics include promoting collaboration through wikis, blogs and chatting; managing digital storytelling projects from start to finish; and using iPod touch and mobile applications to get students studying more often, in more places than ever.
