- Easy connections. Apple TV connects to your HD projector or widescreen TV via an HDMI cable (sold separately). This simple connection delivers both audio and video to your TV no need for multiple cables. If your projector or TV doesnt have an HDMI port, you can connect to Apple TV via component video and audio.
