Synergetic Australia is a growing Apple Authorised Reseller, Service Provider and newly appointed Vodafone Dealer opening new premises in late July that incorporate a large retail store and upgraded service facilities. We seek the following staff with a desire to be part of a new team developing a strong presence for Synergetic Australia in the Apple Reseller marketplace:

Retail Sales – Full Time and/or Casual

Full-time and/or part-time positions are available for responsible persons with a pleasant demeanour and excellent communication skills. Responsible for retail store, telephone and email sales to consumers and small to large business customers. Must have a knowledge of Mac OS X, be conversant with Apple products and able to discuss total solutions matching the customers’ needs and convert them to sales. Experience in telecommunications sales desirable but not mandatory. Full time sales positions are based on a 38 hour week over six days with remuneration commensurate with experience.

Service: Apple Apprentice – Full Time

We seek an enthusiastic junior to join our busy service team. Your understanding of Apple products and a desire to learn the troubleshooting and problem resolution techniques associated with them will put you in a strong position for this role along with an aptitude to dismantle and reassemble electronic equipment successfully. You will be guided through the Apple Apprentice Program with the ultimate intention of becoming an Apple Certified Technician, able to perform service tasks both in our workshop and on site. A driver’s licence is desirable but not mandatory. This is a full time position based on a 38 hour week over six days.

Junior Service Technician
Powermedia Systems in Sydney is seeking a full time experienced Apple Junior Service Technician with current Apple certification's and a qualified understanding of OS.9 & OS.X.

A steady customer focus is required with the ability to troubleshoot, a wide range of problems, providing quality customer satisfaction under the supervision of a senior technician.

Responsibilities include providing a high level of technical support to a range of graphic/ pre-press / corporate/ education clients utilising inter-personal communication skills. Other duties will include Service administration.

The successful MUST be self motivated and well organised, and quick at correctly diagnosing problems with excellent fault finding skills which includes a good understanding of networking and cross-platform connectivity and addressing.

On-site service work will include the delivery and installation of equipment and therefore must have transport and hold a current Australian Drivers licence.

The ability to prepare quotations for installation and support projects in conjunction with the Powermedia sales consultants will be required.

Sales Executives
Powermedia Systems is an Apple Reseller, servicing both the professional and education markets, located in Surry Hills, NSW.

We are currently seeking Sale Executives to join our team. This is a full time role which will suit a professional who is not afraid to prospect New Business, ideally with some exposure to the Video corporate market. You will be expected to seek out and develop opportunities with both new and existing clients. You will sell the full range of Apple hardware, along with associated software, peripherals and support options. Experience in Video and Print is desirable. Software knowledge in Adobe, Macromedia, Final Cut Pro, OS X, Microsoft etc.

You will also be expected to spend time promoting the Macintosh to current Windows based organisations. Some exposure to the Macintosh is desired, but most important is your commitment to seek out and develop opportunities. While your primary focus will be corporate, you will spend some of your time servicing other clients as well. Remuneration based upon experience.
