iTunes lets you create playlists that match your musical whims and fancies. Simply drag and drop songs into a playlist, then group your playlists into folders to organise them as you please. Have iTunes create a playlist for you with Smart Playlists. Simply indicate your desired criteria — like all the rock songs you’ve added to your library in the past month or songs you’ve listened to more than 10 times — and iTunes finds the songs that match your rules and creates a playlist that updates itself automatically.
Try some selective listening.
Your party deserves a great soundtrack, and iTunes helps you jump-start your set list. The Party Shuffle feature creates a dynamic playlist from either your entire library or a specific playlist. Review upcoming songs to reorder or remove on the fly, or add songs to the mix at any time.
