Frequently Asked Questions

How do I qualify for an Apple rebate?

Purchase the qualifying product or products from the eligible retailer during the promotion period per the Terms and Conditions of the rebate. If there are multiple qualifying products, all of them must be purchased together, at the same time and on the same receipt.

How do I obtain my rebate check?

Complete the rebate form online at www.apple.com.au/promo and mail your original UPC labels and receipt as instructed, within 30 days of your purchase date.

Alternatively, you can download the rebate coupon from the Apple product promotions page and mail the completed coupon, postmarked within 30 days of your purchase date, with the original UPC label and receipt to the address listed on the rebate coupon

If I am applying for more than one Apple rebate related to the purchase of my Apple computer, what do I need to do if each one calls for an original UPC label?

If you qualify for more than one Apple promotion that requires you to submit the computer UPC label, you may use the original computer UPC label for one of the claims and make photocopies for the others. Please indicate which promotion contains the original computer UPC label. Check the Terms and Conditions of each individual rebate for more specific information.

Who is eligible to participate in Apple rebates?

Unless otherwise stated in the Terms and Conditions of the rebate, you must be an Individual or Education Individual end-user purchaser.

If my purchase was made through the Apple Online Store or through Apple Telesales, what date is used as the “purchase date”?

For online or phone orders, purchase date is the ship date. You must submit the rebate within 30 days of this ship date.

If my products are on the same sales order but are shipped on different dates with two separate receipts, will I still qualify?

Yes. If multiple receipts have the same sales or web order number, they satisfy the same-day and same-receipt requirement. You must submit copies of both receipts.

Do I have to cut out the entire UPC label? Where do I find the UPC labels on the boxes? How will I recognise them?

Cut out the entire label, including the part number with bar code, the serial number with bar code, the product description and all the layers of cardboard and/or plastic.

For hardware products, the UPC label may be located anywhere on the outside of the box. For software products, the UPC label typically contains a part number and a barcode and is usually located on the top or bottom flap of the product box.

If I buy more than one pair of qualifying products at one time (on the same receipt or sales order), do I need to complete multiple rebates?

No. You should claim all qualifying pairs of products at the same time. Check the Terms and Conditions of the rebate for the exact number of products allowed. You must include the required documents, including original UPC labels, as specified from each qualifying product.

Where do I mail the rebate form and required documents?

Mail the rebate form and required documents to the address printed on the rebate coupon or on the Online Submission Form. Each Apple promotion has a unique mailing address.

Can this offer be combined with other promotions?

Apple rebates may not be combined with other Apple promotions or with other vendor’s rebates unless otherwise specified in the Terms and Conditions of the rebate promotion.

To qualify for a rebate, can I buy my new computer from any store that carries Apple products?

No. Rebate offers are valid only when you purchase your qualifying products from a qualifying retailer as specified in the rebate promotion Terms and Conditions. To find an Authorised Apple Reseller near you, visit www.apple.com.au/buy.

This offer isn’t currently available in my country. Do you plan to offer it here in the future?

From time to time, Apple offers promotional savings on different products and to different customer segments for limited periods of time. Product eligibility is at Apple’s discretion. Apple cannot comment or speculate on future Apple promotional activity. Please be sure to check back on the Apple promotions page in your region to view the promotions available in your region.

How much time do I have to claim my rebate?

In general, you must claim your rebate within 30 days of your purchase/ship date. However, you must check the Terms and Conditions of the rebate for specific postmark requirements.

How long will it take to get my rebate cheque?

You should receive your rebate cheque within eight (8) weeks from the date your claim is processed.

How do I check the status of my rebate?

You can check the status of your claim by emailing rebates@apple.com.au.

If I exchange one of my qualifying products on the original sales receipt at a later date, will I still qualify?

Yes. But you must meet the following requirements:

  1. For all rebates, the qualifying products must have been originally purchased on the same day.
  2. The exchange for purchased or preordered products must occur within the rebate promotion period.
  3. You must submit both your original receipt and your exchange receipt with your rebate with your rebate within 30 days of the exchange date.

After submitting my rebate documents, I received a rejection letter for not sending the original UPC label. I threw away the product box. Is there anything I can do to still get the rebate?

No. You must provide an original UPC label in order to receive a rebate.

How much time do I have to resubmit a claim after receiving a rejection letter?

Your resubmission should be postmarked within 14 days of receiving the rejection letter.

I purchased a product that will not ship until after the promotion. Do I still qualify for the rebate?

Yes, if you purchased or pre-ordered the eligible products within the promotion period and on the same receipt. In the event that a qualifying product is ordered during the promotion dates and shipped after the end of the promotion, Apple will process claims received within 30 days of the ship date.
