I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them, after 2 hours of trying myself -- no good. They even have the supervisor on the line. It wouldn't stay connected, so I returned it. A few weeks later I ordered another one. ( I dreamed of a wireless numeral keypad.) The second one never connected at all. So I returned it also. Neither one worked. Very disappointing.

      Terrible

After using this numeric keypad for two weeks (switching between an iMac and a Macbook Pro) I am taking it back to the Apple Store. I can't understand why Appl After using this numeric keypad for two weeks (switching between an iMac and a Macbook Pro) I am taking it back to the Apple Store. I can't understand why Apple would sell this out of their store. I read other reviews after I purchased it and many of those complaints are similar and many of them are years old, leading me to believe that nothing has been done to improve this product. When it works, it's ok for simple number entry but the function buttons on the top are apparently non-programmable and are useless. The page up, page down, and the delete buttons don't work, and there is a lag when you type in the first few numbers if it has been sleeping for a while. My main issue is connectivity. It will work for five minutes then I will see a connection lost pop up. Then it works, then it doesn't. The only real positive thing I can say about this product is that it looks pretty and it almost perfectly matches the sleek, aluminum mac keyboard. If you want a non-functioning movie prop, great. If you want something that works, stay away from this product.

      Hopeless

Have had this for just over 2 years. In all that time it has managed to stay connected to my 27" state-of-the-art iMac for around 5 seconds before requiring "f Have had this for just over 2 years. In all that time it has managed to stay connected to my 27" state-of-the-art iMac for around 5 seconds before requiring "forgetting & reconnecting". I have had no such problem with any other bluetooth device pairing with any other device. Too flimsy to use as a door-stop, so entirely useless.

Indeed it doesn't come with a built-in battery but nothing that can't be solved with a couple of AA rechargeable batteries. Had a minor inconvenience when using in my standard keyboard language. Doesn't input a dot when it's supposed to in "Spanish - ISO" layout, must revert back to "U.S." to work, otherwise it enters a comma. Too bad also it doesn't come with black keys instead of the white ones to match my MacBook Pro, still, it looks and works really great. Highly recommended.
