WHEREVER YOU GO
At DJI we created the flying camera as you know it.
For our newest drone we decided to start small, so you can dream big.
This is the DJI MAVIC.
You are looking at our first flying camera that you can bring everywhere. When you feel like flying, just unfold it and you can be ready to go in less than a minute.
We’ve carefully shrunk it down to fit in any of your bags without skimping on the technology. The Mavic is the only drone of its size to feature a miniaturized gimbal, a complex stabilization system that keeps your entire camera steady.
You can also make flying easy enough for anyone to try, while you stay in control with TapFly.
All of this is controlled using a game-pad sized controller you can keep in your pocket which opens up to clamp around your phone.
With return to home the MAVIC remembers your location in the world and will come back to you while landing safely all with just the push of a button. The precision landing features means it can land almost exactly where you took off, completely automatically.
In Sport Mode, for a taste of drone racing thrills, with max speeds of up to 40 miles an hour.
The Mavic has been designed for you to take it anywhere, ready at a moments notice, whenever inspiration strikes you to create something truly great.
EASY TO USE COMPACT DESIGN READY TO FLY
Able to shoot true 4K video and Full HD slow motion, the DJI Mavic Pro camera drone is a powerful personal aircraft you can keep by your side and quickly launch to beautifully capture any moment. Just fold it up, drop it into your backpack or handbag, and go. Flying it is just as easy — use the included controller or the app on your iPhone or iPad.
Portable and powerful
Everything about Mavic Pro is perfectly miniaturised, from the camera to core flight components. Yet it delivers plenty of power — which you can effortlessly harness with the pocket-sized remote controller. And DJI's unique OcuSync technology lets you fly Mavic as far as 7 kilometres (4.3 miles) away.
Easy control with your iPhone
All you need is your iPhone and Mavic Pro when you want to quickly grab a dronie, set up tracking to shoot a friend, or even just head skywards for a quick flight. The DJI GO app lets you see everything the camera sees, as well as everything you need to know about your Mavic, from battery life to where it is, where it's heading, and much more.
Uncompromisingly smooth video
When you're shooting video from the sky, smoothness is everything. And that's what Mavic Pro delivers. Its 4K camera is supported by a miniaturised camera stabilisation system that stabilises the entire camera, letting you extract the most from every single pixel.
Shoot like a pro — automatically
When you fly the Mavic Pro, you don’t need a film crew. All you need is ActiveTrack. Just tell it who to track and it handles the rest. You get the creative flexibility of four tracking modes. Trace follows behind or flies in front of your subject. Profile flies alongside your subject. Spotlight keeps the camera trained on your subject while you fly almost anywhere. And Circle automatically circles around your subject.
In the air the Mavic Pro hovers precisely where you tell it to, even in strong winds, and will automatically land close to where you took off, giving you the confidence to fly. Mavic is also smart enough to actually see what's ahead and avoid whatever it sees.
To really get your blood pumping, activate Mavic’s sport mode and race through the sky at a thrilling 64.8 kph (40 mph).

I had a problem last year flying with a Phantom on winter under very cold conditions and the advice is better to avoid to fly with very cold weather. I guess you can wait to order until spring.
