Beats Studio Over-Ear Headphones

  • Overview

Completely redesigned, the Beats Studio over-ear headphones are even lighter, stronger, more comfortable and more precise than the original world-famous design. They deliver powerful, re-engineered sound along with Adaptive Noise Canceling, a 20-hour rechargeable battery and remote talk controls.

    Feel your music

The Beats Acoustic Engine gives you an intimate, real encounter with your music, while the signature DSP software delivers the exact emotional experience that Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine and some of the music industry's greatest rock, hip-hop, pop, electronic and R&B producers want you to feel.

    Put the world on mute

Silence the noise from your daily commute or the drama from your loud neighbours with Beats' no-compromise dual-mode Adaptive Noise Canceling (ANC). When you're listening to music, ANC automatically strikes a balance between your audio and the world outside. And if you want to use the headphone just to cancel external noise, ANC-only mode automatically increases the level of noise cancellation to make things even quieter.

    What batteries?

A 20-hour rechargeable battery makes sure your vibe keeps going. To prevent wasting energy, the auto on/off feature turns off when you unplug, and the visible Battery Fuel Gauge lets you see at a glance how much juice is available. Plus, you can charge the new Studio via standard micro USB adapter almost anywhere.

    Lighter, stronger and more comfortable

When Beats re-imagined these legendary headphones, they designed it like a beautiful sports car and made disciplined choices. They streamlined the new Beats Studio with fast curves, smooth surfaces and no visible screws. It now weighs 13 percent less than the original and has a lighter, stronger and more comfortable headband. The ear cups are softer and there's an ergonomic bellow to create a flexible, custom fit for every head shape, so you can keep your music all to yourself.

Love the fact that they are rechargeable and the battery meter is sleek and easy to read. I was especially surprised by how good the noise cancelling is. Neighbor was mowing the lawn and I didn't even notice. Great job Dre!

      Top Notch Headphones

These new beats are the best headphones I have owned. They are sleeker than other headphones (including older beats) and the rechargeable feature is cool too. B These new beats are the best headphones I have owned. They are sleeker than other headphones (including older beats) and the rechargeable feature is cool too. But most importantly they offer the highest sound quality and the best noise cancellation technology of any headphones I have tried. I also like the cool packaging and how light they feel even when you have them on for hours. Highly Recommended!

The sound quality is amazing and they are incredibly comfortable. Plus, the design is beautiful and you just feel great wearing them. Now, if I can only keep them away from my kids who keep taking them. Looks like I know what to get them for Christmas!

The thing that really sets these apart is the cheap industrial design that went into them. If you search for Headband breakage for example you'll see the same photos over and over or even better YouTube videos all showing how to repair or temporary hack your way through repairs on the same point of failure. This alone indicates that not only is the focus on quality not a high priority but this is really just a disposable product that may last a year max. I bought my original BOSE Headphones in 2008 and travelled around the world with them and not once have they let me down, these things, 1yr in and padding around the ears has gone and now the headband just cracked (as i was taking them off). No hint of actual stress testing went into this product as near as I can tell. Save your money go with BOSE or whatever alternative ...imho.

      Decent and impressive headphones

Sound Quality is great however other headphones for example created by Bose have better quality, which fall into the same price bracket. Bulid Quality is impressive and does feel durable. In addition I have found these headphones to be very comfortable even to wear for long periods of time due to the soft leather and large ear cups. The price of £270 is quite expensive though and there are better headphones out on the market at this price however I think you are buying a good piece of kit.
