I pad falling out of groove in case

    • Written by from Kellyville Ridge

Hope this helps others. Only one edge of the i pad has magnetic properties and you must ensure you always place this side into the groove. For my pad the home button must be on the right when seated into the keyboard groove. If you do it on the opposite edge there is no magnet and it will constantly fall out.

Completely functional and reliable ~ so far

    • Written by from Calgary

I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing and was cautious with the commitment, but Logitech has served me well in the past. I've had this now for three months, and am very pleased. Only now charging it for the first time. Has been flawless. I suppose I need to wait and see. Great product (so far).

Great cover wish they would have carried design to the newer models...

    • Written by from SAINT AUGUSTINE

Had this cover for a couple of years. Perfect design in my opinion. Slides easily in and out of briefcase, connectivity great, battery great etc. I was hoping the new model for the air was the same but has this funky clip made from plastic. Their ME design group took a big step backwards in my opinion. If you have an iPad that works with this keyboard, get this one. Lot of people I know have this and it works great.

Going strong after 18 months! Buying the same model for my iPad Air

    • Written by from Concord

This is a great keyboard. I haven't had a single issue with it after 18 months...and I use it daily, at least 3-4 hours. In fact, I think I've only had to re-charge it a couple of times, it holds the charge really well. I don't travel with it too often, but the clip stays in place, no problems trying to attach it at all. I really like the "clicking" sound and touch of the keys. It's surprising to read about all the issues people have had...maybe it's a quality control for newer batches since mine was purchased 18 months ago. Hope I don't have as many issues with this keyboard when I buy one for my "hand-me-down" iPad Air.

    • Written by from Gort

The logietech keyboard is great. It is better the using our fingers to type. But i have a question to ask you? Sometimes above the volume button there is a blue flashing light and I dont't know what to do about it.

    Overall very pleased

    • Written by from Watertown

I bought this keyboard yesterday along with the iPad Air. Ive owned a iPad 2 for last 3 years. This is my 1st wireless keyboard and very happy with it. But what I noticed it does not allow for auto caps and auto correct. After doing some reaserch i discovered that this problem is normal with all wireless keyboards and Apple iPads or any tablet. Being use to this feature it was at first bothersome but getting use to the fact that I now have to use the shift key and really getting use to spelling words correctly, that is, watch what letters im typing. Other than this small problem I am overall very happy. The keyboard has many great functions!! And love how I can fold it down to make the iPad look like a laptop. Connects using magnets and aliegns it perfectly.

    Excellent companion to the iPad.

    • Written by from SUNBURY-ON-THAMES

I bought the iPad and the Logitech keyboard together about three-four months ago. I use my iPad as a ultra portable computer with the keyboard, no Apps, no silly games etc. Easy to type, easy to set up, easily transportable and easily protected by closing, its even thinner than the iPad. The battery seems to last forever, I can only think I've charged it twice since its purchase. The keyboard base silver outer scratches easily when pushed about on a desktop, but on the other hand it acts like a hard shell cover when closed. Well worth the money. I'd score it six stars if its charging plug was the same as the Apple one, then again Apple would make it, and it would cost a three times as much!

    Great product

    • Written by from Oakville

I am very happy with this accessory. It snaps on magnetically, and perfectly. Nicely made. Keys feel great, and are easy to type on even though the keyboard is smaller than a typical computer keyboard. I bought the white keyboard, since my iPad is white - it''s a perfect match, especially with the stainless backing too. The iPad rests in a groove in the keyboard, but it feels quite secure actually, and 2 together are quite well balanced, even when you're using your knees as a desk. Great product overall. Very nicely made. The whole thing looks like a mini computer now.

Best keyboard and stand for iPad 1-4

    • Written by from New York

I have used this keyboard for 6 months. It does triple duty as a cover for the iPad, a stand, and keyboard. It is just a bit heavier than the Apple iPad smart cover and has a magnetic clasp on the side that shuts the iPad down and protects it when in place. The keyboard has well designed with good touch and travel, remarkable battery longevity (months on one charge with a microUSB), and all the important keys. The iPad fits horizontally (and vertically) at a slot in the keyboard, holding it just the right angle. There is an on-off switch for the bluetooth. If you are not using, it goes to sleep. There is a button that interrupts the blue tooth so that you can switch to different devices. Pressing any of the keys will turn on the iPad, iPhone, or Mac that is connected to it. Typing in the passcode will get you in without having to touch the screen. The arrow keys work the way they should. The fn keys include ones for search, changing the country for the keyboard (e.g. if you want to type in Chinese), cut/copy/paste, sound volume, and of course all the standard Apple commands keys. There is a small light that blinks (green) when the keyboard is being charged, is finished charging (solid green), or flashes blue when it is waiting for a bluetooth connection. It will fit all the ipads from 1 through 4. It is tough.

    Consistently great experience

I bought this keyboard for my iPad3 when first available and immediately appreciated how well it worked. Over a year later I'm still using it and still appreciating it. Long battery life, light weight ... like the iPad, it just works as expected, over and over.

    Surprisingly useful and attractive

    • Written by from Los Angeles

I purchased this keyboard cover when I purchased my refurbished iPad2 over 18 months ago to replace my first iPad with the the Zaggmate Keyboard Case. The keyboard has enough charge to use to create documents on the iPad on a 9 hour flight to Tokyo, and makes it easier to take notes during conferences. Unlike the Zaggmate case, there are no walls that make typing awkward, however, this cover is not as secure as that case. I invested in a full cushioned case that protects the whole kit.

I have not experienced any problems with a weak magnet, nor found that the iPad is unstable in the in the keyboard.

Best of all, the two together looks sleek. People still comment on the look and ease of use. Would happily recommend and purchase again.

    Love. It.

    • Written by from Richmond

I hate the on screen keyboard. I do a LOT of typing, and that just wasn't cutting it. This keyboard turns my iPad into a mini laptop. And it protects my iPad face when not in use. Logitech hit a home run with this one. My only slight complaint is that the silver on the back is starting to wear away, but that doesn't affect usability and I use this puppy 8-10 hours a day.

If only it had a Caps Lock indicator

    • Written by from Centreville

Going into this venture with the Logitech Keyboard/cover, I knew that any external cover would be problematic since most are made without any thought of compatibility with other accessories. I love this and feel it is the most elegant of all the keyboards on the market for iPad. As I use this heavily, I am impressed by the battery life and my only wish was that there was some indication that the caps lock was engaged. (painful for password log in situations). As I take good care of my stuff, I did not feel any need to have any direct protection on either and put the iPad and keyboard diligently into a mini carry case (man purse) when on the move. Every few days, I just wipe everything down with a microfiber cloth and no scratches anywhere! I have used the combo constantly for the last 3 months with no issues.

    Outstanding Accessory

    • Written by from Sawbrageworth

This is an outstanding accessory for the iPad. I have been using it for several months, after read many reviews of the product. It has revolutionised my use of the iPad and made it into a small laptop. It is excellent substantial pieces of writing as a letter, or for inputting other kinds of text or data. It really is well worth the money.

Turns iPad into a legitimate laptop!

    • Written by from Minneapolis

I travel extensively for my consulting work and need the internet, word processing and spreadsheet functionality and constant access to email. The ipad does all of that, but with this keyboard I don't need to haul my laptop with me any longer. Pair up this keyboard with an App like CloudOn and I get most things done on the road. The keyboard is amazing. It's sleep, connects quickly/easily and looks VERY sharp. I get compliments every time I use it. Highly recommend. The only drawbacks are easy to over come. You don't have all the shortcuts you have with a laptop keyboard, but with the touchscreen you can be more effective and quicker with your typing and web surfing than without the keyboard.

    Logitech keyboard beats expectations

    • Written by from HOBART

The keyboard was bought for an extended overseas trip and exceeded my expectations.
1 Did not need recharging (for over 3 months of heavy use)
2 Despite the ultra thin tag was good for typing long emails
3 Serves as a capable cover using the on/off magnetic catch iPad facility
4 Easy lap/tray use on a plane for extended periods (music & games)
5 Stable on a car seat for GPS navigation

All in all a typical Logitech product that confidently matches the iPad. Great.

I received the Logitech keyboard as a Christmas gift. As soon as I set it up, which couldn't be any easier, and slide my IPad2 into it, turned everything on, and I was hooked for life. This product is absolutely great!

    Thank You, So Very Much!
