Notice:
Recently, the iTunes Store experienced an issue which prevented a small number of customers from being able to create an account
without entering a credit card. Normally, when you create an account while redeeming a gift certificate, or iTunes card, you have the option of
selecting "None" as a payment method.
This issue made the "None" unavailable. We have resolved this problem. You can now create a new account, while redeeming an
iTunes Card or gift certificate, without being required to enter a credit card.
If you were affected by this problem and would like to remove credit card information from your account,
click here. Sign in, if prompted, then click Edit Payment Information.
Select None in the Credit Card area, and any credit information will be removed from your account.
