Apple Certified Trainer

The Apple Certified Trainer program is designed for individuals who want to become certified to deliver Apple curriculum on topics ranging from Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server administration, to Professional Applications such as Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Motion etc.

Program Overview
The Apple Certified Trainer program prepares qualified individuals to deliver Apple courses for Apple or for an Apple Authorised Training Centre. Apple courses are instructor-led classes that combine lectures, demonstrations and hands-on student exercises performed on Mac OS X-based systems. Apple Certified Trainers maintain a high standard of instructional preparedness through continued access to Apple's technical resources. Candidates will be qualified both in technical proficiency and instructional skills prior to authorisation.

Training and Support
Program members receive the following training and support:

  • Train-the-trainer program delivered by Apple training and development staff
  • Complete courseware developed by Apple training experts
  • Access to internal Apple Training experts for specialised support and communications

Apple has two certified trainer programs
Apple Certified Trainer for Technical Training
This program is designed for individuals who wish to become certified to deliver technical training in topics such as Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server and System Administration.

Apple Certified Trainer for Pro Products
This program is designed for individuals who wish to become certified to deliver certified courses in Aperture, Colour Management, DVD Studio Pro, Final Cut Express, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Motion, Shake and SoundTrack Pro.

Application Process - Train the Trainer Class
If you are interested in registering for one of these classes, please complete the relevant application. Registrants must meet all prerequisites to be accepted into the program. Please allow at least 7 business days for your application to be processed. You will receive an email confirmation once your application has been accepted, which will include a link to online payment for the course. Select Criteria

Apple welcomes all applicants including independent contractors and AATC trainers. Selection is based on a number of criteria including experience in leader-led training, a strong understanding of Apple technologies and applications and Apple Certification in your chosen field.
