Training and Certification

Apple Certified Associate certifications are designed for professionals, educators and students to validate their skills in Apple's digital lifestyle and authoring applications, iLife '09 and iWork '09. Differentiate yourself to schools, potential employers and prospective clients as an Apple Certified Associate and gain a competitive edge in the ever-changing job market. 

Exams are administered at the end of the associated course at Apple Authorised Training Centres (AATC) or Apple Authorised Training Centres for Education (AATCE). Exams are also offered separately during Exam Days at AATCs. If you prefer to learn on your own or believe you already have the required knowledge, you may take the exam at an AATC for a fee, or purchase the corresponding iLife '09 book or iWork '09 book which each include a code to take that exam online for $45.00 USD.

Associate Training and Certification Program for High Schools
Schools in the US and Canada can offer Associate certification and training to their students. An eligible school must have at least one teacher who has earned iLife '09 or iWork '09 Trainer certification by passing the associated trainer exams. For information on how your teachers can become certified, please visit the Apple Associate Certification Program for Education page. Please note this program is only available in the US and Canada. Outside the US and Canada, students can take the exams at an AATC or AATCE.
