Highly flexible
MultiSAN enables production volumes to be independently hosted and separated from the playout volumes. With flexible permissions in Xsan 2, you can control which computers see certain volumes. For example, you may want a few computers to see the playout volume and all computers on the SAN to have access to the production volume.
Xsan Admin will notify you via pager or email if a controller failover occurs or a Fibre Channel connection fails.
