Had many headphones and earphones over the years, some costing several hundred dollars. Am currently using the B&W P5's with a DAC connected to my Macbook Pro. Pretty good. But I needed a pair of good fitting earphones for travelling and walking the dog. Did a lot of research but couldn't listen because of restrictions on 'in-ear' testing. But the Apple store has a 'try for two weeks with a full refund if you're not happy' policy. So I bought the i300's. Put them on my iPod and was blown away. These earphones are very good. For the money they are an absolute steal.

The best £50 you'll spend on in-ear headphones

    • Written by from Norwich

Firstly I like to think of myself as a bit of an audiophile. I listen to music for a good 4-6 hours most days. I've tried a whole range of ear phones, from the in-ear Apple, Logitech Ultimate, RHA's, Atomic Floyd Darts and previous Sennheiser's. I bought the Super Darts before Christmas as I was always intrigued to see what a £200 pair of headphones brings to the table in comparison to a £50+ pair. Granted the build quality and sound is exceptional, but it's all relative. If you're mainly listening to music on your iPhone, the sound card isn't good enough to warrant spending £200. Likewise if the quality of your music is poor then it's not worth it.

I took them back and swapped them for the i300's based on the reviews on here and elsewhere online. At first I thought the mids and bass lacked warmth, whilst the treble lacked clarity, but if you get these leave them for half a day with your music playing through them at half volume to warm the drivers up. After they got through that initial warm-up period I have been surprised about how good the sound has been out of these headphones. The bass response is excellent and the general warmth of the sound is very rich no matter what the music type. Aside from the sound, the mic works very well, the controls are easy to use and so far the build quality looks respectable.

If I had one complaint it would be that the lead isn't quite long enough, but I'm being picky here!

    Need new headphones? Get these!

    Pretty average all 'round really

    • Written by from Hartford

Headphone performance is nothing sensational, I'm no expert so I won't pretend to critique the bass or treble performance. What prompted me to write was my dislike of a couple of features:

1 - The length of the cable is barely enough to carry your device in your trouser pocket, without the earphones being tugged out of your ears.
2 - The cable from the mike to the left hand earbud is half the length of the cable on the right hand side.
Oh, and for good measure, the remote / mike performance is nowhere near as good as that on the Apple earbuds.

I regret buying these headphones and wish I had studied other options harder before ordering them!

Very nice product and seem to be latex free

    • Written by from Worcester

Great sound and feel comfortable in my ears. Must be latex free because I haven't had any skin irritation. Have now ordered a second pair in black. I would recommend this product.

Excellent In-Ear Headphones with Memory Foam Earbuds

    • Written by from Northallerton

Where to start? Well they look great - that's the first thing you'll notice. These are IEMs which looks and sounds good. They're built from sturdy strong plastics and comes with silicon earbuds of which are not very comfortable and falls off easily. Within 2 months of using it I have already gone through 2 sets of silicon earbuds. I have now replaced the silicon earbuds with memory foam ones which I bought from eBay. They are called MoBeast. Upon switching to the memory foam earbuds, it enhances the comfortability and sound quality ALOT!! So I strongly recommend the MoBeast memory foam earbuds.

I'm coming from a very nice pair of dual driver Ultimate Ears which replaced some pretty decent Shures from a couple of years back so I'm accustomed to very nice sounding IEMs. That should put some context on things when I say these are head and shoulders above anything I've used before. The drive and energy behind the sound these produce is astonishing. The experience is, for want of a better word, massive. Play something bass heavy, close your eyes and you could imagine someone has somehow sneaked a massive woofer into the room. The sound has a visceral edge.

That's not to say these are all about the bass. So far I've tried these out with a range of styles and not found a single one lacking. It was when I listened to Hotel California though that my mind was made up. A great song for testing out speakers/IEMs etc. because of the richness of the sound. No word of a lie, it sounded like a new song. Harmonies were clear and crisp, the plucked guitars twanged playfully as the melody swelled and the drums thumped and crashed with energy and drive. Again let me remind you that these are tested with MoBeast memory foam earbuds.

They're fairly priced and you can't doubt the value. These are fantastic IEMs and if you're in the market for a great set and are happy to spend the money to hear your music so beautifully reproduced I am happy to recommend these unreservedly but only with the replacement of the original silicon earbuds with the MoBeast memory foam earbuds.

    Sound isolation disappointing

    • Written by from BATHURST

Expected these to be top notch but the sound isolation so far is pretty disappointing. I get way better blocking of external sound with the Apple in-ear 'phones.

    loose buds

great sounding earphones, excellent noise isolation, the only problem with them is that the buds seem to fall off rather easily, not great for everyday usage. i've already gone through 2 sets.

These are the best earphone l have ever worn. They totally block out outside noises meaning l could hear every detail of the song. Me and my family travel a lot by plane, bus and sometimes cruises and you know they're very noisy especially on the plane when all you can hear is the engine roaring. As soon as l put these babes on, it's a whole new world. Even in the noisiest places l could hear every detail of my song. l highly recommend these to every one. And don't worry about size because it comes with three ear sizes from small to large. Bottom line:

Best durability and quality I have ever seen

    • Written by from brisbane

These headphones have been the most durable headphones I have ever experienced. Somehow they are completely waterproof. I use them when I run. They can handle intense sweating from running or whatever and even going through the wash. If anything putting them through the wash made them better by cleaning out the dirt and ear wax.

On top of that they have outstanding sound quality and bass.

Definitely one to check out if you're not very careful with headphones

    Absolutely Brilliant!

    These headphone are the business!

I have iPhone 5 & the Apple ear things kept falling out my ears all the time so useless, went back to using the old iPhone 4 ear things which stayed in my ears and sound was ok.

Got these this morning, had to change the ear cups so they stayed in my ears and once they did the sound was out of this world - would definitely recommend you get a pair of these - I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Make sure you put them well into your ears!

    • Written by from Forrest

If you don't put them snugly into your ears, the sound can be very shallow and disappointing.

    they fit!!!

    • Written by from glasgow

The sound quality of these is really good - they block out extraneous sound. The quality of the bass is also good - I listen to a variety of types of music from classical to pop and they handle all types of music fine. Best feature though is the fact that the small ear cover fits me - I've never had as conmfortable a pair before. The Mic is a great feature - I remember the first ipod earphones with the remote control on them - I never understood why they scaled that back cause it was great, but the mic and remote on these earphones gives me back this control (including fast forward, rewind and pause) without having to go to the iphone itself. I love these earphones. I've got them in white - they didn't come with a carry case.

    These are great

    • Written by from Newcastle upon Tyne

I've been looking for some headphones for ages, others that I've had hurt my ears and did not sound good at all.

After reading loads of reviews etc popped into Apple Store to look and check what the assistants could help me with and decided on Sennheiser i300 OMG these are great fitted well in my ear as they come with 3 different sizes found that I am the smallest which would explain why my ears so sore using others.

Now can hear all the music, bass, voice etc and no outside noise at all great for this price.

    Truly excellent

    • Written by from Leven

I spent 3 hours in Covent Garden today listening to all kinds of over hear phones from £70 to £300 and these match the best. I was going to plunge for the £66 apple in ear phones but at £50 I gave these a punt. I'm amazed at the quality for the price. I'll buy another pair without hesitation before I buy apple ear phones again.
