To Add a Chart to a Slide:

  1. From the Insert menu, choose Chart (or click Chart in the toolbar).
  2. Drag the chart where you want it.
  3. To resize the chart, drag a selection handle.
  4. To change the chart type, choose an option from the chart type pop-up menu at the top of the Chart Inspector.
  5. Enter your data into the Chart Data Editor, or copy and paste it from a spreadsheet application.
To format charts, including changing colors, fonts, labels, and markings, use the Chart Inspector.
