Playing Your Slideshow

You can play your slideshow on a single display or you can set it up to play on a secondary display or projector. After you set up your slideshow to play where you want, you control the slideshow from within the Keynote window.

  1. From the View menu, choose Play Slideshow (or click Play in the toolbar). This plays the slideshow starting with the selected slide. To play the slideshow from the beginning no matter which slide is selected, Option-click Play.
  2. To advance to the next slide, press the right bracket (]), Shift-Page Down, or Shift-Down Arrow keys.
  3. To go to the previous slide, press the P, Left Arrow, Up Arrow, Shift-Up Arrow, Page Up, or Delete key.
  4. To quit the slideshow, press the Escape, Q, Command-period, or period key.
