Switching to Entourage 2004:
Transferring Data from Outlook to Entourage
If you currently use Outlook versions 1997-2003 on Windows for your email, contacts and calendaring, you can use a 3rd party application to help you to move to Entourage on the Mac.
Install and use a 3rd party app such as Outlook2Mac on your Windows machine, to convert your Outlook data to standard file formats (typcially mbox for email, ics for calendaring, vcf/vcard for contacts).
Note: Information about 3rd party products, such as Outlook2Mac, is provided by Apple as a courtesy. Neither Microsoft nor Apple are responsible for this information. Any questions, complaints or claims regarding the applications should be directed to the appropriate software vendor.
- Transfer your converted data to your Mac, using an external storage solution (such as an external hard drive, portable media (CD/DVD), or a networked drive).
- Bring your converted data into Entourage; you may be able to drag-and-drop typical mbox, ics and vcf files directly into the Mail, Calendar and Address sections of Entourage or the Entourage icon in the dock.
Other tips on importing files into Entourage can be found at Outlook2Mac.
