Switching to Entourage 2004:
Synchronize and transfer your Palm Handheld data with Entourage
If you are constantly on the go and rely heavily on your Palm Handheld to create tasks, track calendar events and organize contacts, you can store and edit that data in Entourage. Through data synchronization, you can keep both your Palm Handheld and Macintosh computer in sync and up-to-date with each other.
- Install the Entourage conduit.
- Navigate to the Handheld Sync Installer in the Microsoft Office 2004/Additional Tools folder.
- Start HotSync Manager.
- On the HotSync menu, click Conduit Settings.
- In the list of conduits, double-click Entourage Conduit.
- Select the Enable synchronization with these new handhelds check box.
Note: Some Palm products offer fields and other data that are not supported by Entourage. If these fields are used, data may be lost, such as birthdays and URLs in contacts. Learn more.
