Switching to Entourage 2004:
Entourage with Exchange Server (2000 and higher)

If your business is using an Exchange server, you can access your online email, contacts and calendar accounts. (Note: email stored in offline folders must be moved separately. If you have offline folders in Outlook and are moving to Entourage, please see “Transferring Data from Outlook to Entourage” in this tip. For software other than Outlook, please consult your email software’s documentation.)

  1. Open Entourage, click on the “Entourage” menu and then click on “Account Settings.”
  2. Click on the “Exchange” tab at the top right of the box, and then hit the “New” button in the upper left.
  3. Enter in the appropriate Exchange server account information.
  4. Entourage will connect to your online email, contacts and calendar items.
  5. If the assistant fails to find the Exchange server information, you will be provided a simplified user interface where you can enter the information that Entourage could not detect.

Note: To set up your account without the assistant, click Configure account manually.
