The Middle School Language Arts solution provides a highly effective way to expand student writing skills and reading comprehension. Engaging and academically stimulating activities challenge students to analyze what they read and apply the strategies they discover to their own writing projects.

This solution includes an exceptional collection of educator-recommended products and aligns to the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and International Reading Association (IRA) standards. The solution enables students to build and master skills such as word analysis, reading comprehension, literary response and analysis, writing strategies and applications, and grammar and mechanics.

Destination Reading Course IV: Middle School comes with ten sets of media and accompanying materials, and a license to install the software on 10 computers for use with 120 unique users. For Get A Clue, WriteBrain, and WriteToLearn, the solution includes a one-year subscription for up to 120 unique users.* All of these subscription-based products are also available for students to access from home or from any computer with Internet access. Middle School Language Arts runs on either PowerPC or Intel-based Mac computers.

This innovative tool is designed to develop writing and reading comprehension skills. Students practice essay writing and summarization skills, and their efforts are measured by the Knowledge Analysis Technologies™ engine, which automatically evaluates the meaning of text, not just grammatical correctness or spelling.
