Professional Development for educators.
Apple offers a range of professional development workshops. Theyre designed to give faculty the skills and confidence to create and publish digital content for their classes, inspire creativity with engaging media assignments, and get teams collaborating in and out of class. We also have sessions to help principals, district leaders, deans, and provosts bring momentum to their technology plans.
Each workshop is led by former educators and is fully customized for your institution. Our Professional Development team can help you evaluate your facultys current skills and teaching strategies and create a step-by-step development plan. Learn more
iLife, iWork, and pro application certifications.
Students and educators can receive associate-level certification in iLife or iWork to prove their skill at creating digital content such as movies, podcasts, photo books, music, presentations, spreadsheets, and more.
They can also train for certification in any of Apples pro applications, the standard software in creative industries such as filmmaking, broadcast production, audio recording, and photography. Becoming an Apple Certified Pro gives students a leg up when theyre competing for jobs, because employers know theyre ready to hit the ground running.
Certification courses are taught at Apple Authorized Training Centers around the country, and many centers will also send trainers to your institution. Even better, your high school, college, or university can qualify to provide training and certification onsite. So you can open doors for students and help your school stand out at the same time.
Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server, and service certifications.
Apple offers training and certification courses that prepare your IT staff to troubleshoot Mac OS X or to implement a Mac OS X Server-based system. System administrators can go further and master directory services, deployment, or advanced administration.
Your staff can use Apple Training Series books to study for exams on their own. They can also take courses at an Apple Authorized Training Center or arrange for a trainer to provide onsite instruction.

Face time with personal trainers.
Yearly One to One personal training memberships are an affordable, flexible way for educators to learn how to do almost anything on the Mac. Members schedule hour-long sessions with Trainers at the Apple Retail Store. In each session, they can choose a specific area, like moviemaking or podcasting, in which they want to improve their skills.
Every hour is fully customized, so educators can go from trying something for the first time to learning to master a pro application like Final Cut Studio. They can even bring in a project theyre developing for their class and get hands-on guidance from a Trainer.
