In Taiwan, the national collection and recycling program for IT equipment is run by the Taiwan EPA (Environmental Protection Administration). Apple customers can return their used IT equipment free of charge to the place they purchased new IT equipment, or they can use specific collection points throughout Taiwan. Apple customers must ensure that returned equipment is labeled with the Apple identification mark “ID#R33057.” This label is provided with all new Apple products sold in Taiwan since 1998.
