Get Final Cut Pro Updates.

Sign in with your Apple ID to get the latest updates to Final Cut Pro and its suite of applications: Cinema Tools, Compressor, and LiveType. Final Cut Pro (version 5.0.4) is highly recommended for all Final Cut Pro 5 users.

To Download Updates:

1. Sign in with your Apple ID.
2. Enter your Final Cut Pro 5 or Final Cut Studio serial number, then click the “Download” button.
3. A page will appear which allows you to download the application updates.

Final Cut Pro 5 Update Requirements

• Macintosh computer with a PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) or G5 processor; not supported on Intel-based Mac computers with Rosetta
• HD features require 1GHz or faster single or dual processor; authoring of HD DVDs requires a PowerPC G5 processor.
• AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) or PCI Express (PCI-E) Quartz Extreme graphics card
• 512 megabytes (MB) of random-access memory (RAM); 1 gigabyte (GB) recommended

• Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later
• QuickTime 7.0 or later
