Proof of Purchase - UPC Labels, Emails, and Receipts
- Where do I find the UPC labels?
-
For hardware products, the UPC label may be located anywhere on the outside of the box and includes the part number with barcode, the serial number with barcode, and the product description. For software products, the UPC label is usually located on the top or bottom flap of the product box and typically contains a part number and barcode.
- If I purchased from the Apple Online Store or over the phone, what do I submit as my receipt?
-
If you purchased from the Apple Online Store or over the phone, your Apple Store Shipment Notification emails qualify as your receipt. Orders placed on the Apple Online Store or over the phone can ship separately, and therefore a single order may generate more than one Apple Store Shipment Notification email. Include all Shipment Notification emails pertaining to the qualifying products. Apple Store Order Acknowledgements will not be accepted.
- If I no longer have my Apple Store Shipment Notification email, how can I obtain a duplicate copy?
-
If you purchased from the Apple Online Store, log onto apple.ca/orderstatus, click on the appropriate order number, and print your Invoice Receipt. Please be sure that you submit all receipts pertaining to the qualifying products. If you purchased from an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized reseller, please contact them directly to request a duplicate receipt.
Online and Phone Purchases
- If my purchase was made through the Apple Online Store or over the phone, what date is used as the “purchase date?"
-
For online or phone orders, you are not invoiced until the product ships. Therefore, your purchase date is your ship date.
- I purchased a product that will not ship until after the promotion. Do I still qualify for the rebate?
-
In the event that a qualifying product is ordered during the promotion dates and shipped after the end of the promotion, Apple offers an additional fifteen (15) day grace period for postmark of the claim, provided that you submit your Order Acknowledgement stating that you placed the order during the promotion period.
- If my products are on the same Sales Order but are shipped on different dates with two separate receipts, will I still qualify?
-
Yes. If multiple receipts have the same Sales or Web Order Number, they satisfy the same-day and same-receipt requirement. You must submit copies of both receipts.
- If my Mac order ships prior to the promotion start date, but I receive it within the promotional period, will I qualify for the rebate?
-
If your computer was sold, shipped, and invoiced to you prior to the promotional period, it does not qualify for a rebate.
- If my Mac order ships prior to the promotion start date, can I return it and reorder in order to take advantage of the promotion?
-
If your order was placed online or over the phone with Apple, please visit Apple’s sales policies for more information on our return policy. If your purchase was made at a participating Apple Retail Store or Apple Reseller, please contact them directly for the correct sales and return policy of that store. To locate the Apple Retail Store or Apple Reseller, please visit Apple - Where to Buy.
