      questionable lifespan…

      this device failed after about two years. to someone my age, a hardwired device with no moving parts like this one, or like an electrical plug, the lifespan sho this device failed after about two years. to someone my age, a hardwired device with no moving parts like this one, or like an electrical plug, the lifespan should be well, endless. how many times have you had to replace an electrical plug, or a two pin to three pin electrical plug adaptor? never? maybe younger people are accepting of this kind of quality, but i'm not. i am vexed having to pay $25 every two years to replace this device. shame on the manufacturer.

      Quality solution and simple to use

      I am very happy with this adaptor. I was shopping for a solution that works well with my new Dell monitor that has 4K resolution. This Moshi adaptor was perfe I am very happy with this adaptor. I was shopping for a solution that works well with my new Dell monitor that has 4K resolution. This Moshi adaptor was perfect. I just plugged it in to my MAC and that was it. No drivers or anything to install.

      Expensive Junk

      Don't recommend - worked fine for a year, then became glitchy and now has stopped working after year 2. My old PowerBook used a adapter for DVI to VGA and work Don't recommend - worked fine for a year, then became glitchy and now has stopped working after year 2.       Very short life

      I used this with my Powerbook Pro for maybe 6 months. It just stopped working. It was cheap, $, so I am not crying.       Poorly constructed

      I used this three times: with a Samsung, an LG, and a Vizio. In each case I was trying to screen mirror/accept an external display, and it was no bueno every I used this three times: with a Samsung, an LG, and a Vizio. In each case I was trying to screen mirror/accept an external display, and it was no bueno every time. On the third try--the Vizio--the metal slid Thunderbolt connector right out of the plastic casing, and it was easy to see the guts were poorly soldered. I kept blaming the pilot and the devices, but it was all on Moshi! Returned it. Off to find an alternative...
