Does microsoft office for mac work with magic mouse? Specifically, does the right click produce the short menus?

    Yes, it does, however you need to go to System preferences, Mouse, and enable Secondary click (Right), which is by default off.

    Then clicking top right of the mouse will produce the standard right button click like nearly any other mouse.

    Every time I touch the Magic Mouse, the screen pages forward or backward or some other stupid behavior. I cannot pick up the Magic Mouse without having to reposition
    I keep my Logitech trackball around when I have to use Word, Excel or PowerPoint. This is both with Office 2008 and Office 2011.

    If anyone has an idea of how to desensitize the Magic Mouse in Office, I would be grateful.
