Ok, I had this problem when I first set my MM on my macbook pro. What you need to do is click the apple logo on the top left of the screen on your Macbook or iMac and click software update. There should be a download that allows for the multi-touch surface to be activated (its only about 50 mb so it should download quickly) soon as it is downloaded the multi-touch surface should work

    Thanks, MP

  • As long as you are running these system requirements on your MacBook Pro you can use all the features of the Magic Mouse...

Mac OS X v10.5.8 or later with Wireless Mouse Software Update 1.0* or Mac OS X v10.6.1 or later with Wireless Mouse Software Update 1.0
