This Keyboard > More Expense Magic Keyboard

I cannot believe this keyboard is half the price of the wireless one that has less keys and is less user friendly. I love that the keys are springy and raised up higher than the magic keyboard. It makes it so much easier and faster to type, especially if you have long nails like myself. I struggled to type on the magic keyboard but it is truly a breeze and pleasure on this keyboard. The keyboard is also physically raised up higher versus the magic keyboard, in my opinion making it much easier on your wrists and more effective for quick typing, which is what a keyboard's function is. This keyboard is sturdy and reliable, unlike the magic keyboard that loved to disconnect at times or act strange where I would have to disconnect the bluetooth and reconnect it again.

The only con would be if you have a small work space, the keyboard is pretty long, and competes for space with my mouse and trackpad.

ALL IN ALL, I love this keyboard, I never thought I'd genuinely enjoy a keyboard until I got my hands on this one. Highly recommend it.

    Amazing Keyboard

This is definitely my favorite keyboard of all time. I've purchased 3 or 4 over the years for my various computers, and it has never disappointed. The keys have the perfect amount of travel, and the widely spaced arrow keys are great for gaming. The USB ports on the side are excellent for a wireless mouse dongle or a speaker. It's also well-built, durable, and looks great. I can't recommend it enough!

Excellent, sturdy, spill-proof and very reliable

Had to use a keyboard with numeric pad in France - otherwise you need the shift key to get numbers. On return to the UK finally moved back to a QWERTY keyboard after trying this second-hand purchase. That was in 2013 and still haven't bought a new one!

    Classic

This is a good keyboard. I purchased is for my MacBook Pro to make it easier to work with when at a desk; it is a more ergonomic setup. As such I am leaning over a notebook trying to type while hunching forward at the small 13" screen.

The keys have a nice touch and the additional numpad and home keys make it easier to navigate around files, and especially when navigating through and editing word processing and writing programs in C/C++ etc.

Furthermore, the USB ports on each side are very handy for USB drives. Don't expect to use a hard drive or any high-powered USB device in one though; USB adapters simply can't carry the (electric) current necessary to power such devices.

There is no "delete" key for reverse character deletion as is the case for Windows keyboards, however the fn key is conveniently located near the delete key to perform the fn+delete command so you can delete characters in front of the insertion point in text processing applications.

Function keys F13-F19 are extra keys to which you can program further shortcuts in for your convenience.

If you're into Apple computers, this keyboard is built for the purpose of navigating OSX. I highly recommend this for everyday desktop use.

    Great Keyboard

This keyboard has good performance, and I have actually noticed that I type more accurately, and faster. For $49.00, this keyboard is a really good choice.

    Almost perfect

I've had my wired Apple keyboard with number pad for a few days now and I have to say I think it's a marked improvement on the wireless variety which it replaced.

The thing I don't really understand is why haven't Apple produced this keyboard in a wireless version for users that would prefer it.

For my part the cable doesn't trouble me in anyway whatsoever with the exception that it takes up a USB port on my iMac but as pretty much everything else I use is wireless it's not an issue for me and considering I no longer have to be concerned with battery power/replacement and the occasional bluetooth disconnect this just isn't an issue, at least not for me. I suppose it would be more aesthetically pleasing without the cable but hey ho I think the advantages that this keyboard offers over the wireless version far outweigh any disadvantages.

My only gripe is that although it's very pleasing to the eye as it is it would be better if it had the same profile as the wireless keyboard but only because it would then be a better match for the trackpad, perhaps an option for Apple to consider would be to produce a trackpad that matches this keyboard ... merely a suggestion ... I'm very happy with it the way it is.

    Perfect to use

Just get one, good to look and type. I thought to buy a wireless one but when I really look at it, I can't find an idea to buy that coz it doesn't have a numeric keyboard. Considering I won't use it out of home, bigger size will be a better choice. Great Apple:)

    Great Keyboard

Never regret to purchase this keyboard. Responsive keyboard and elegant design of it which make I love it the most. With the two USB ports, I can charge my iPhone 6, read my flash drive or even power up my USB fan. Never have to worry about getting battery dried up like the bluetooth version of it. Talk about the durability, well, I'm just using it for a month. Go for the bluetooth if you don't like cables, otherwise this could be your perfect choice.

    Comes with a little Bonus!

Ok, So I got a Retina MacBook Pro and was really struggling with no Numeric Pad. I looked into some Microsoft Keyboards but just loved the design of this one (suiting my MacBook). When I opened the box, there was an extra USB cable extension. This is the best designed extension cable I have ever seen and they do come in handy.

    Great things about this keyboard:
-Dedicated Delete Key (like on Windows, always use!)
-Larger, Spread out keys (arrow keys especially)
    -USB Extension cable
    -Price ($80 isn't too bad)

Grouping this keyboard with a Magic Mouse makes it so much easier to use your MacBook; especially if your Mac tends to stay at home.

    true ergonomics

i felt symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome for working on the computer all day. this keyboard helped immensely! it's very slim, the angle is perfect, and the feather touch keys are wonderful! truly ergonomic. you'll never ever like another keyboard once you've tried a mac one. :D

    A beautiful keyboard

I received this keyboard with my iMac. I went for this version over the wireless version as I like to have a numeric keypad.

Everything about this keyboard is just perfect. The keys are a good size and its a really quiet keyboard to type on. The keyboard is really well made out of aluminium (which is a nice change from the usual plastic). The angle of the keyboard I find perfect and I can type for a long time without getting any wrist pain at all.

A nice touch as well is the two USB 2 ports on each end of the keyboard. These are ideal for connecting a USB thumb drive or for connecting your iPhone or iPad. It is possible to charge the iPhone too.

I am totally satisfied with this keyboard and cannot fault it at all.

    Excellent but Backlight Feature Needed

One of the best keyboards I've ever used. It's thin, compact and I love typing on it. Only complain I have is the lack of backlighting. It's a hassle when you can't see what you're typing when you're in a dark environment. It's especially hard for me when I want to do my work (or play games) at night.

Once again, this keyboard is amazing but for the next installment, I hope Apple is smart enough to add the backlight feature.

    Pleasure

Bought this Keyboard a few months ago mainly for the numeric keypad for entering accounts info, looked at the stand alone numeric one, but thought for the small amount of extra money and extra usb ports might aswell go with the full version, glad I did what a pleasure the keyboard is to use and the quality is excellent, a good product!

    Best keyboard I've had

This keyboard is excellent with just enough spring in the keys. The low profile keys cause less hand fatigue than standard keyboards.

A minor problem is that the Moshi cover stains over time (presumably from hand lotion or finger oils). However this does not detract from its functionality, and I am still very happy with this keyboard + cover purchase from 2 years ago.

    Quiet and Convenient

I got this keyboard for a desktop setup that has my macbook plugged in to an external LCD monitor.

I was amazed at how quiet this keyboard is. It is even more quiet than my Macbook keyboard. It types well, has a nice feel, and the additional numeric pad and other keys like home/end/delete provide expanded capabilities for my desktop setup.

The additional cable i need to plug into my Macbook is a minus for me, but the convenience of the two USB ports it provides more than makes up for it. That means I do not need to run another USB cable from where I place my Macbook to my desk if I need to plug in USB devices.

    Highly recommended.
