    REALLY nice keyboard!

This is one of the best keyboards I have ever had. It has a nice feel and a very positive response. The design is super and very easy to look at. Would have liked to get this keyboard with num keypad as a wireless kb but it is not to be. I wish the cord was longer but my board shipped with a short extension cable that worked for me.

    The Best Keyboard ever.

I've used many keyboards before, but this one is by far the most outstanding. The keys are so crisp and easy to find, plus the keyboard shortcuts make it extremely easy for me to change my iTunes song whilst not even having the program open. This keyboard is a huge breath of fresh air after dealing with an extremely dirty, black apple pro keyboard. I also like how it's design matches all mac designs, I use a 2005 eMac and it blends in with it beautifully.

    I absolutly love it!

Apple sure has improved the keyboard. I love the low profile keys, and it actually feels great to type! One of the main reasons I love this keyboard is because on the older one it was a pain to clean, but with this one its extremely easy! All in all, I love this product!

    Excellent and Beautiful Keyboard

At first, I had to get used to this keyboard because of its design (i.e. the calculator-type keys). After getting used to it (about a couple of minutes), I realized I could type faster on it.

The keyboard is quiet and pleasant to the touch. It is easy to clean.

It looks pretty good from a design point of view.

I love Apple's New Slimline Keyboard

This keyboard is awesome. I replaced it with the clear type that Apple used to have. I like the fact that it is silver--completed closed and is not even a 1/4 inch thick. Yes...just about a 1/4 inch!! It's so user friendly...the keyboard is quiet too. They moved the eject, volume up and down, brightness buttons all to the very top of the keyboard, along with it's own keys to access the widgets and another key to place all of your files that are open on screen for viewing at once. Being a graphic designer, I am lovin this. I highly recommend this new keyboard to everyone!!

Before I owned any Apple product, I used to wonder why it was their products were slightly higher in price than other companies... I thought they wanted to rip you off. However, I now know that with a higher price comes much better quality.

This is one of the most sleek and sexy keyboards I've ever seen. Apple puts so much time and effort into making something as boring as a keyboard into something that a person could truly be proud of. It may be a keyboard, but when the look of it has to be involved in a review, you know it's something special. Now, the performance of the keyboard is also very noteworthy, as it is one of the most responsive keyboards I've ever used in my life. It makes typing a breeze with its low pressure response. I used to have a problem where I would hit hard enough on the keys so the letter would not display, causing a lot of spelling mistakes and tedium... not anymore. Thanks to this keyboard, typing is much faster and tedium is a non issue.

I also enjoy how there are two USB ports on the device, although they don't work with iPods, which is a real shame. Other than that, there really isn't any other bad things about this keyboard.

Hey, when I take time out of my day to write a review about a keyboard, you know it's good.

    Amazing Keyboard.

I love this keyboard. It is very responsive, and very easy to type on. I enjoy writing on this keyboard. I think my typing speed has increase. It is beautifully designed. It doesn't take up a lot of space, either.

This keyboard is amazing... typing feels so leisurely and relaxed after having used the fat keyboards we're all used to. Plus it just makes your desk look ten times cooler.

I am apparently dirty because all of my keyboards start really showing the dirt after about 3 months of use, and this keyboard is by far the easiest to clean.

I'm using this on a Windows computer and all I had to do was map the volume and playback control keys. The command key becomes the Windows key.

Just want to clear up a few things

To people saying stuff about ipod etc not working, read this

Devices that draw high power from the USB connection, such as iPods, hard drives and some flash drives, can only be used with the new keyboard when it is attached to the aluminum iMac.

that is from the page in the mac section on the keyboard. At the bottom.

So, it only works if you have an aluminum imac to run high power stuff.

    Easy to use

Simply an excellent feel, nice ergometrics, doesn't get in your way. Key layout is intuitive as well. I use it when my MBP is in closed lid mode. Small quibble...I can never find the fn key, since I don't use it often. I'm used to it being by the control key.

    Best Keyboard EVAR

I'm a writer and I swear this keyboard ups my WPM's by 20%. Key travel is practically nonexistent. This was ripped right out of the bridge of the Enterprise. This is without a doubt the best keyboard I've ever used.

    Great Keyboard

I liked the old keyboard, but my Tab key wasn't working well, so buying this new keyboard for $49 was cheaper than fixing the old one. I use it with OS 10.4.11, so some of the F Keys don't work as they would if I had the newer Operating System (10.5). My greatest disappointment was that the control-F2 key combination no longer worked as it had on the older keyboard (that F Key combination allows control of the menus from the keyboard). I discovered that if I press the "fn" key (next to the "Home" key), & then press "control-F2," the key combination works just as it used to. This might work for other F Keys as well, I haven't tried it. Other than that, I love the positive feel & short stroke of the new keys, & the extra 3 (19 instead of 16) F keys, & the small symbols on some of the keys (particularly on F3 & F4). Many of the F Keys are pre-programmed by Apple, but 9 of them are not, so you can program those keys yourself if you wish to. Overall, a great buy for a very well-made keyboard.

This is a great keyboard in my humble opinion. I actually purchased it to use with my PS3. It paired with no problem and works flawlessly.

The new style of the keys is intimidating at first but proves to be an easy adjustment once you begin to use it.

I love that it's light weight and portable and believe that was the idea in the design. This, to me, explains the lack of a 10 key.

Apple, once again, is setting the standard for style and functionality.

    One word... Marvelous

If you set aside the fact that it has a lower profile that the normal PC keyboard, or even an older Mac keyboard, you find it a pleasure to type on. Each touch is crisp, and responsive.

It takes a bit of getting used to of course, as do all changes, but you eventually get used to it. The main change I felt was the hardest to get used to was the smaller "return" key, which I am used to being larger.

Aside from these minor points, I am extremely pleased with this product, and hope to use it for a great many years to come. Unless, of course, Apple bring out a better keyboard. Although, how it could be better I can't imagine.

Thanks Apple, for another amazing product!
