The Apple Pro Training Series is Apple’s official curriculum. Offered as a self-paced learning tool and used in all instructor-led courses, the authors are chosen by Apple because of their industry expertise. The instructor-led courses are offered at Apple Authorized Training Centers across North America, Europe, Japan, Australia and Asia. Taught by Apple Certified Trainers, the courses balance concepts and lectures with hands-on labs and step-by-step real-world exercises.

Self-paced Learning
Now there’s a new way to learn Apple’s popular video editing, audio, and film compositing tools: a comprehensive course that’s both a self-paced learning tool and the approved curriculum for all Apple Certified Trainers. Using real projects that you work through step-by-step, each Apple Pro Training Series book includes a DVD of sample projects, plus review exercises at the end of each lesson. You can choose to follow the lessons from start to finish, or just dive into the lessons that interest you most.
End User Certification
The Apple Certified Pro program creates a benchmark for assessing an enduser’s proficiency in a specific Apple Pro application. By taking and passing the Apple Certified Pro exam, a user is given Apple Certified Pro status, which allows them to distinguish themselves to colleagues, employers, and prospective clients as skilled users of the chosen software application. This certification gives individuals a competitive edge in today’s ever-changing job market.
Trainer Certification
The Apple Certified Trainer Program trains and tests qualified industry professionals to deliver Apple certified courses specifically in Apple’s Pro applications: Final Cut Pro, Motion, DVD Studio Pro, Shake, Logic, and Aperture. Certified trainers work with Apple Authorized Training Centers to deliver courses to end users from the most basic class to the most advanced.

Find a Certified Professional
An Apple Certified Pro has demonstrated their operational knowledge of one of Apple’s Pro Applications. Users of Aperture, Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Motion, Soundtrack Pro and Logic Pro may obtain Certified Pro status by passing the corresponding exams for their chosen application. Some applications offer two levels of certification. Level 1 attests to the basic operational knowledge of the application. Level 2 attests to knowledge of more advanced features and a deeper understanding of the application. All users must demonstrate the requisite knowledge of the application to achieve their status.
