1. What is the iPod touch Battery Replacement Program?
If your iPod touch requires service only because the battery’s ability to hold an electrical charge has diminished, Apple will repair your iPod touch for a service fee plus shipping charge. Be sure to follow these instructions for optimizing lifespan and battery life before submitting your iPod touch for battery replacement.

All fees are in Canadian dollars and are subject to local tax. Service may not be available if your iPod touch has been damaged due to accident or abuse. Please review Apple’s Repair Terms and Conditions for further details.

3. Will the data on my iPod touch be preserved?
No, the repair process will clear all data from your iPod touch.  It is important to sync your iPod touch with iTunes to back up your contacts, photos, and more.  Apple is not responsible for the loss of information while servicing your iPod touch and does not offer any data transfer service.  Please do not send any accessories with your iPod touch.

4. How long will service take?
The repair process normally takes three business days.
