Warranty service for eligible repairs is available at no charge for twelve months from the date of original retail purchase ("date of purchase"). A $29.95 shipping and handling fee will apply to all warranty repairs performed six months after date of purchase. Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty begins on the date that the iSight was originally purchased. Apple may need to examine your proof of purchase document to verify your iSight's warranty status. The replacement iSight will be functionally equivalent to your iSight when new. Your service will take approximately one week from the date we receive your iSight for service to the date you receive your replacement iSight. If your iSight is no longer covered under Apple's One Year Limited Warranty and it requires service, Apple will replace your iSight for a service fee of $149, plus $6.95 shipping. All fees are in US dollars and are subject to local tax. Replacement iSights may be new, used or refurbished. Service may not be available if your iSight has been damaged due to accident or abuse. Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty for iSight excludes coverage for damage resulting from accident, unauthorized service and unauthorized modifications. Please review the warranty for further details. Apple reserves the right to refuse service on iSights that are outside their warranty if damage has occurred due to accident, abuse or misuse. In such event, Apple will return your iSight to you without providing service, and may hold you responsible for shipping costs, plus any applicable sales tax. If Apple provides service under warranty, the terms of the warranty and applicable provisions of law will cover defects in materials and workmanship that arise during the warranty or 90 days after iSight service, whichever provides longer coverage for you. If iSight service is provided outside of warranty, Apple warrants that the repairs to your iSight will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for ninety (90) days from the date of the iSight service. |
