Buying Music FAQ

If this information does not answer your question, please email us using the form below.

How does 1-Click work?

1-Click is turned on by default on the iTunes Store. Your selected song is immediately purchased when you click Buy. To minimize the number of charges to your credit card, Apple consolidates purchases into individual charges of up to $20. Learn more

How do I turn on the Shopping Cart?

Read this article to learn how to use the Shopping Cart instead of 1-Click.

Do I have to enter a credit card?

No. You do not need to enter a credit card to browse or buy music on the iTunes Store. You can purchase music using an iTunes Music Card or iTunes gift certificate. Please read our Music Card FAQ for more information.

Is the iTunes Store available in my country?

The iTunes Store is available in many countries. While we cannot comment on future availability, please rest assured that we are committed to bringing the iTunes Store to music lovers around the world.

Will I be charged tax for my music?

Applicable sales tax is charged for music download purchases where required by local law. The estimated tax noted on your Store invoice is estimated and may not reflect actual charges.

How do I get an invoice of my purchases?

3-4 days after your purchase, Apple will automatically send an invoice of your purchases to the email address listed on your account. If you need a duplicate invoice, please email us using the form below. (Don't forget that you can view your purchase history in iTunes.)
