How to determine when your order will arrive
When you're shopping at the online Apple Store, you'll see estimated shipping and delivery information for each product you order. For readily available items, we'll give you estimated dates for when you can expect your items to ship from our facility (“Ships By”) and then arrive at your door (“Delivers By”). For items not readily available, we'll provide estimated ship and delivery timeframes. All our estimates are based on business days and assume that shipping and delivery do not occur on holidays and weekends.
In the emails we send following your order, we'll continue to update these ship and delivery estimates to provide you with the most current information regarding the status of your items. You can also visit your Order Status summary for up-to-date shipment and delivery details.
Change shipping address To change the shipping address on an item that has not yet shipped, visit Order Status. To change the default shipping address on your online Apple Store account, log in to Your account. Changes are applied to future orders only. Different shipping and billing addresses For your protection, your bank may delay your order if the shipping address is different from the billing address. To prevent a delay, inform your bank that you are ordering merchandise from the online Apple Store and having it shipped to an address that does not match your billing address.

Signature required for delivery
Most of our shipments contain valuable items, so our carriers are required to obtain a signature upon delivery. If you will not be available to sign for your package, we offer three easy options (US orders only):
Sign the carrier's Delivery Notice after the first delivery attempt
Shipping carriers
If you miss the first delivery attempt and our carrier leaves a Delivery Notice on your door, you can sign the Delivery Notice and leave it on your door prior to the next delivery attempt. The carrier can then leave the package by your door. The carrier attempts delivery three times before your package is returned to Apple. Pick up package at carrier's local office After the first delivery attempt, you also have the option of picking up your package at the carrier's local office. Just call the number on the carrier's Delivery Notice and inform the carrier that you want to pick up your package in person. Please note that you'll need the following ID for the carrier to release the package to you: Apple selects the best shipping carrier to ensure your package delivers on time. Visit Order Status to find the name of your shipping carrier once your package ships. Shipping costs Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before you complete your order on the online Apple Store. These costs are also found on your order acknowledgment email and in your Order Status summary. Shipping refunds If you paid for expedited shipping and did not receive your package on time, you may be eligible for a refund on the shipping costs. Please contact Apple Sales Support. Damage during shipping If any item was damaged during shipping, contact Apple Sales Support immediately. Please keep all of the packaging materials. |
