Relying Party Agreement

Your reliance on Digital Certificates while instant messaging with .Mac members is subject to the following conditions: Apple’s iChat software allows for the encryption of your instant messaging communications with .Mac members. This features uses digital certificates to verify that the message is coming from the .Mac member screen name that appears in the instant message window and to encrypt and decrypt the communication. It does not verify the identity of the person using that screen name. Apple does not guarantee that there will be no hacking or intrusions into the instant messaging session. INSTANT MESSAGING WITH A .MAC MEMBER IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. APPLE MAKES NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO MERCHANTIABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, SECURITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS WITH RESPECT TO THE USE OF DIGITAL CERTIFICATES AND/OR ENCRYPTION IN INSTANT MESSAGING.
