MailWidget

About MailWidget
This widget checks your Apple Mail accounts every time Dashboard is activated without having Apple Mail running all the time. It is able to check all your POP, IMAP, Exchange and MobileMe accounts. Unlike other widgets MailWidget knows which mail from your POP account has been received in Apple Mail. That’s especially interesting for those who do not have an IMAP account and therefore are not deleting their old mail from the POP mail server immediately in order to be able to read their last mails on travels via web mail.
Other widgets would say something like “there are 69 mails on the server” but only MailWidget will tell if there are new mails that doesn’t have been already received by Apple Mail.
Whats New in this Version
- All users of version 3.05 Who have setup custom audio-feedback need to perform this update manually
- Fixed the bug, which prevented MailWidget 3.05 to initialise completely if custom audio feedback has been set up
- Reversed assumption about the line breaks a server required to improve compatibility (now CRLF by default and not LF)
