How do you send an SMS? Are you using the T9 input method? Are you also wondering why you are using these small keys with numbers on it to enter text while you have your Mac keyboard in front of you? Then the Send SMS widget is for you.

Use your Mac to enter an SMS text message and then send the SMS through the Internet. You do not even need a mobile phone. The widget will send the SMS for you. Each SMS will cost you only 10 cents, whether you’re sending locally or to a foreign country. No roaming costs are involved.

Standard SMS, Group SMS, Long SMS, Unicode SMS, Flash SMS, Reply by Email, Delivery Reports and Caller ID are supported in the USA, Europe, Asia, Middle-East, Africa, Canada, and Australia. Localized in English, German, French, Dutch, Italian, and Spanish.

What’s New in this Version
- Two important features were improved.
- Regarding the Group SMS feature, the widget gives more feedback about which mobile numbers in the group were actually not sent (because of mistakes in the mobile numbers). Also, we will always immediately submit the Group SMS to the gateways and report the invalid numbers afterwards.
- Secondly, we improved the sorting of the contacts from the Address Book. It should be faster and case insensitive, which also should improve the launch and reload time of the widget.
