About Degrees Down Under Widget
Displays the current temperature for locations around Australia, using data from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology website . The widget’s colour varies with the temperature, which can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Links take you to detailed observations on the Bureau’s website. You can choose to display actual or “apparent” temperature.

This widget was jointly developed with Warwick Emanuel. It is a Dashboard version of the Mac OS X application Degrees Down Under.

What’s New in this Version
- Choice of actual or apparent temperature display.
- Updates to reflect changes to Bureau’s website, including addition of separate Canberra and Darwin area pages. Previous versions of the widget may not work following these website changes.
