About DOI Resolver
Many collections of peer-reviewed literature (and more generally, all types of intellectual property) that exist in the digital domain are now being assigned Digital Object Identifier Names (DOI® Names) which allow them to be found online, even if their location changes over time.
Say you’re reading a journal article and you want to read another paper that the article references. If the referenced paper’s DOI Name is listed in its citation, simply type/paste it into the DOI Resolver widget, press Enter, and your default browser will take you to the web page currently associated with the DOI.
With the DOI Resolver Widget, you can quickly access the documents you are looking for, without having to first go to a journal’s homepage and submit a traditional search query based on author, title, keywords and so on.
