This cool widget uses 3D animation to show the best of Amazon’s deals straight on your Dashboard. The animation includes product images, prices, savings and a short description.

Widget preferences let you choose the product categories you are interested in, as well as limit the savings (in percent) for shown products.

The animation uses Quartz Extreme, resulting in very little resources being used.
