Today is seems everything is so automated, so fast paced, so mechanical that we don’t even remember that at one time things were all made by hand, everyday, by real people, with natural ingredients harvested from the earth.

It seems to me that there is a feeling of something missing, a step that was skipped…things just are…they keep just being there, but there is no journey, no process, no sense of completion or understanding. I guess I want to feel life, I want to be a part of it everyday, I want to know where things come from and feel rooted in the past and feel my way to where I am now.Making things by hand for me, is the journey.
