I has been very popular over the years. Recently, a user emailed me and asked if it could be used for internet radio. I loved the idea, so I adapted iTunes Startup specifically for internet radio, and renamed it Radio Startup.

Radio Startup is a simple Automator application intended to start your day off right. I like to listen to internet radio at work, and I want it to be playing when I get there in the morning, and I want it to play at a nice low-medium volume level, so I don’t scare anyone in the office. Radio Startup will set your computer volume and iTunes volume at a reasonable level, then begin playing an internet radio station or podcast, when your computer starts.

Use it with the “Start up or wake” option in the Energy Saver preference panel, to have your computer start up, and begin playing music, just before you get to work in the morning, or set it as an alarm to wake you up in the morning with your favorite music.
