Safari RAR TXT Stripper 1.0a
About Safari RAR TXT Stripper
Many times websites seem to not have compatible MIME-type settings for .rar files so users are forced to download these as .rar.txt files. They still work as .rar files, however you must first strip the .txt if you are to open them correctly by your default compression program. Included is an application which asks for the folder containing these naughty files and a workflow that can be directed to your downloads folder and then saved as an application. The last is to be saved as a plug-in to your Finder.
All of the files are meant for only a very specific purpose, so don’t be surprised if most people do not need to use it. This is an alpha version for testing purposes, though the only danger to your files should be if they have the following extension that appears within the quotes: “.rar.txt”.
