About Mail Badger
A free plug-in for Apple Mail that lets you create add multiple badges to Mail’s dock icon, to indicate the number of messages in different mailboxes, or the number of messages that satisfy a set of conditions.

The main features include:
- Create badges that indicate the number of unread, read, or total messages in a mailbox or group of mailboxes
- Create badges that indicate the number of messages that satisfy a set of criteria (such as the number of messages from a particular e-mail address, or the number that contain attachments)
- Create badges that take their value from an arbitrary block of AppleScript code
- Customize the appearance of your badges – choose their shape, font, color, transparency, size and location; even use your own images instead of the built-in ones!

Mail Badger integrates seamlessly into Apple Mail, adding its own section to Mail’s Preferences pane to make adding new badges to the dock icon as easy as possible. Documentation is included in the form of a standard Help book that can be accessed by clicking the purple “Help” button on the Mail Badger preferences pane.
