ExactScan supports various file formats, including PDF, Compressed PDF, JPEG, JPEG2000, (multi-page-) TIFF, PNG and it is compatible with popular programs like the OCR software Omnipage, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office and the DEVONthink software for a paperless office.

What’s New in this Version
- The application was translated into more than 20 European and Asian languages.
- Support for TWAIN was added, to allow using scanners that already come with a Mac OS X TWAIN driver. A new direct scan to printer functionality was added to transform at Mac into a digital copier using and existing scanner and printer
- Additional controls for the “Blank Page Detection” where added as well as the possibility to reset profiles to their default settings.
- Support for new scanners was added, ExactScan now supports over 160 document scanners from various brands.
