About TeXShop
An editor and previewer for TeX on OS X. Indeed TeXShop is the front end included in MacTeX-2007, the standard distribution of “everything needed to run TeX on OS X, supporting TeX, LaTeX, AMSTeX, ConTeXt, XeTeX, and other packages” maintained by the MacTeX TeXnical working group of the TeX Users Group and available at www.tug.org/mactex.
The earlier 1.19 version of TeXShop won an Apple Design Award in 2002.
Whats New in this Version
- A “fullscreen” menu command shows the Preview window in fullscreen mode, allowing users to display Beamer slides with a projector.
- Configuration of the program is easier than in earlier versions.
- The program has a substantially revised Help menu, including short Movies illustrating use of the program and George Gratzer’s Short Course from his upcoming book “More Math into LaTeX” for a basic introduction to AMS-LaTeX.
